3. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete project requirements
  • Timely provision of content, materials, and feedback
  • Payment of fees according to agreed terms
  • Compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Maintaining confidentiality of login credentials and access information

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Project Payments

Payment terms are specified in individual project agreements. Generally:

  • 50% deposit required before project commencement
  • Remaining balance due upon project completion
  • Additional features or scope changes may incur extra charges
  • Late payments may result in project suspension

4.2 Refund Policy

Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis. Deposits are generally non-refundable once work has commenced.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Client Content

Clients retain ownership of all content, data, and materials provided to Hectagon. Clients grant Hectagon a license to use such materials solely for the purpose of providing services.

5.2 Developed Solutions

Upon full payment, clients receive ownership of custom-developed solutions, excluding any third-party components or Hectagon's proprietary tools and methodologies.

6. Confidentiality

Hectagon agrees to maintain the confidentiality of all client information and will not disclose such information to third parties without written consent, except as required by law.

7. Limitation of Liability

Hectagon's liability is limited to the amount paid for services. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

8. Project Timeline

Project timelines are estimates and may be affected by factors including client feedback response time, scope changes, and technical complexities. Hectagon will make reasonable efforts to meet agreed timelines.

9. Support and Maintenance

Post-launch support terms are specified in individual agreements. Generally includes:

  • Bug fixes for a specified period
  • Technical support during business hours
  • Optional ongoing maintenance packages

10. Termination

Either party may terminate services with written notice. Upon termination:

  • Client pays for work completed to date
  • Hectagon delivers completed work components
  • Confidentiality obligations continue

11. Governing Law
